Aaron Bao
I study computer science and political economy at Berkeley. With a friend I co-founded Phaistos Labs, where we are trying to read Linear A, a Bronze Age script that has resisted decipherment for over a century and has no bilingual key.
What I care about are the problems at strange intersections, where no single discipline has the answer on its own. The easiest way to understand me is how I grew up: bored a lot, in a house full of books, reading whatever was around.
Getting here was not linear.
Currently,

Outside of that I dance hip hop, sing in a choir, climb mountains in winter, cook when I need to think, and argue about movies more than is reasonable.
